Holly Foote, DO, MS began her post-bac career as an accountant but ultimately returned to school to become a doctor. She moved to NYC in 2006 to attend Columbia University's School of Physicians & Surgeons Institute of Human Nutrition, where she received her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition in 2008. She continued her medical education at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem, NY and graduated in 2012. She completed her general surgery residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY in 2019 and her abdominal transplant surgery fellowship at NYU Langone in 2021. She then lived in Istanbul, Turkey in 2022, training under world-renowned living donor liver transplant surgeon, Dr. Yaman Tokat. She is currently a transplant surgeon for LifeCenter Northwest in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Foote has a passion for teaching and for writing and has recently taken up pickleball.
