Sean A. Nix, DO, FACOS, FCCM, FACS is the Trauma Medical Director at Saint Luke’s Hospital, a level 1 trauma center in Kansas City, MO, where he is responsible for the management of the trauma department including a surgical critical care service and emergency surgery services. Dr. Nix is a graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his residency at Des Peres Hospital and his fellowship in Surgical Critical Care with Washington University/Barnes Jewish in Saint Louis, MO. Throughout his professional career he has been heavily involved in teaching and training of the care providers on sepsis and improved performance.
