Dr. Kirill Zakharov is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at University of Michigan Health Sparrow Hospital, he is also a Clinical Assistant Proffessor at Michigan State University Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He graduated with honors from New York College Of Osteopathic Medicine Of New York Institute of Technology in 2013. Having more than 11 years of diverse experiences, Dr. Zakharov has trained at some of the nation's top institutions in New York (NYU Langone Brooklyn) and Kentucky (University of Louisville) performing a wide range of cardiothoracic surgeries. His clinical expertise and interests are on the full range of thoracic surgeries including Robotic lung cancer resections, chest wall resections. As well as Coronary artery bypass grafting, Complex mitral valve surgery as well as Aortic Surgery. He lives in Lansing Michigan with his wife and two children.
